BIO
Rinaldo Walcott is the Carl V. Granger Chair of Africana and American Studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo. His research interests include Black Diaspora Cultural Studies, gender and sexuality with attention to nations, nationalisms, multiculturalism, policy and education broadly defined. His most recent books includeThe Long Emancipation: Moving Toward Black Freedom (Duke, 2021) and On Property (Biblioasis, 2021), and his essays and commentary appear in a number of academic and public outlets.
